The Old Port is spilling with activities and with places to grab a bite and a drink with friends! Enjoy the site this summer with a classic pedal boat ride, a wild time on the St. Lawrence with Saute-Moutons, a virtual reality voyage to Egypt, Horizon of Khufu, presented by PHI, and for adrenalin lovers, zipline flights with MTL Zipline. Grab a drink or a delicious bite to eat on the terrasse at Marché des Éclusiers, or the all-new Les Eaux Douces restaurant. Or how about a picnic with your group of buddies on a private boat with Aventures Wet Set MTL?

For festival lovers of all tastes

From June to September, the Old Port has no less than 20 festival and events going on! Let’s start with all those famous food festivals like Le Grand PoutineFest, Taco Fest, and the Montreal Streetfood Festival. And just like every summer, the Old Port hosts Canada Day celebrations, The Sky Belongs to the DJ fireworks evenings at the Clock Tower Beach, the return of First Fridays, and the city’s very own cultural events, like Orientalys, the AfroMonde festival, and Festival of Colours! Plus, new this summer: Jackalope Fest, Korea Week, and the Shérif festival!!

For a great family getaway

The Old Port is all about family fun. Activities for all ages, and plenty of them! Inflatable games and aerial courses at Voiles en Voiles, sky-high rides aboard La Grande Roue de Montréal’s Ferris wheel, pedal boat and quadricycle rides, the maze at SOS Labyrinthe, and cruises on the river aboard Le Petit Navire or the Bateau-Mouche! And don’t forget the Science Centre with five interactive exhibitions and two IMAX 3D films. Want to grab a bite? There’s Ice Crème Glacée, Mary’s Popcorn, or Félix & Norton cookies, yum!

What could be better than an enchanting location to spend quality time with your sweetheart? The Old Port is filled with beautiful spots to explore hand in hand: unbelievable views from the top of La Grande Roue de Montréal’s Ferris wheel, some pampering at Bota Bota floating spa, a dinner cruise aboard Bateau-Mouche, or window shopping at « Shop Small » found at the Bassin Bonsecours boutiques! All sorts of hot spots to share with your favourite person!

 

For the love and magic of the circus

If there’s one thing you won’t want to miss this summer, it’s the all-new Cirque du Soleil show KURIOS. Feast your eyes on spectacular performances on a stage filled with poetry, science fiction, technology, and audacious acrobatics. From communication to transportation, KURIOS explores the great innovations of the 19th century! A spellbinding blend of surreal worlds reminiscent of Tim Burton and Jules Verne all under the city’s greatest Big Top!
