On this 25th anniversary year of the Mosaïcultures internationales de Montréal, presented by Loto-Québec, Parc Jean-Drapeau is enriching its artistic and cultural heritage by welcoming three works that are emblematic of this special horticultural art. Composed of approximately a half million flowers and plants, these monumental sculptures can now be found in a permanent home in the heart of the Floralies Gardens, in a natural, urban environment accessible to everyone. Les Jardins des Floralies will host an open-air culinary celebration: Les Rendez-vous gourmands, on August 22, 23 and 24. In perfect harmony with harvest season and summer barbecues, this event will bring together renowned chefs and local restaurateurs. They will step out of their kitchens for a few days to offer an exceptional culinary experience in a delightful setting. Local product tastings, food trucks, cooking workshops, live music, and roaming entertainment are all on the program for everyone’s enjoyment.

Parc Jean-Drapeau has one of the finest outdoor aquatic complexes in Canada! The recreation pool for open swimming and lane swimming for the general public is usually accessible every day of the summer season. The gradual-slope recreational pool, which covers an area of 3,557 square metres, is perfect for swimming and playing in the water. The bottom has a cushioned rubber mat for children's comfort and safety. Accessible to all, the water play area enables everyone to get refreshed in an enjoyable, pleasant and safe manner. Swimmers can also take advantage of the Aquatic Complex's widespread area to lounge in the sun around the pool or in the expansive shady area, spending some time relaxing in the great outdoors. Whether it's with your family, friends, or just by yourself, the recreational pool at the Aquatic Complex has something to delight every swimming fan.
