Inaugurated in 1995 in the former U.S. pavilion at Expo 67, the Biosphère, one of Montréal's architectural icons, is located in Parc Jean-Drapeau, in the heart of urban nature. This museum dedicated to the environment explores major contemporary issues through art, science and citizen action. Exhibitions, art installations, immersive experiences and projections for all ages invite visitors to reflect and take action. Enjoy the superb view of downtown and the St. Lawrence River. The Biosphere is located 15 minutes from downtown, just steps from the metro.
