Located just outside Québec City, Parc national de la Jacques-Cartier invites you to explore the great outdoors and connect with nature. You’ll fall under the spell of a vast mountainous plateau cut by deep valleys. This protected area hosts one of the most beautiful glacial valleys in Quebec, the spectacular Vallée de la Jacques-Cartier. The Jacques Cartier River, calm in some places and turbulent in others, has sliced a 550-metre-deep channel into the plateau. It’s a canoer’s paradise! Evergreens stand tall on the high plateaus, while leafy trees thrive in the deep valleys. Over 100 km of hiking trails offer a completely new way to explore the park’s landscapes. Breathtaking views and peaceful nature await.
