This fall, the McCord Stewart Museum presents Costume Balls: Dressing Up History, 1870-1927. Discover the extravagant outfits worn at 19th-century costume balls and skating carnivals, and get a behind-the-scenes look at these social events that bear witness to Canada's colonial myths. Presented starting November 14.

The exhibition Manasie Akpaliapik. Inuit Universe, conceived and produced by the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, is dedicated to the contemporary sculptor of the same name. The artist teases creations representing oral tradition, Arctic wildlife and the environment out of his preferred natural materials. Presented from October 4 to March 9.

Last chance! Don’t miss Portraits and Fashion – Quebec Photographers Beyond Borders, a critically acclaimed exhibition running until October 6!
